A Texas man drove his $1 million dollar luxury car into the marshes. He blamed a low-flying pelican and the fact that he dropped his cell phone for his veer off the road and into the marsh. It isn’t apparent what damages the sports car has but it will be sure to come with a price tag that is probably more than a year’s worth of income for many of us. And it will most likely need to return to France in order to be repaired properly.

The world’s fastest and most expensive caris the French Bugatti Veyron. The luxury car can reach up to 253 mph. The luxury car has a 16 cylinder engine that produces 1001 horsepower. Which means Bugatti’s have the power to go from nothing to 60 miles per hour in three seconds and zero to 180 in 14 seconds.

The price is anywhere in the $1.2 million range. This car makes James Bond’s car look like a Chevy Malibu in comparison. Besides being incredibly high-priced this is an awesome machine. I don’t pretend to know much about cars but I did read a lot of mumbo jumbo about pistons and cylinders and horsepower multiplied by something equals so many liters of gas and blah blah blah.

All I have to say is that you don’t have to know much or even comprehend to know that this is a breath-taking machine. In order to appreciate this car it’s important to know a few things about it. The engine gets more power when there is more air in the cylinders. So this car has turbochargers that allow the engine to remain compact but gives it so much more power because there’s more air being pumped into the cylinders on each intake stroke.

So turbocharging permits you the ability to slash the size of the engine from 16 liters to 8 liters. In order to make the car run there is a gigantic radiator to process the waste heat burning 1.33 gallons of gasoline per minute. The car also has seven gears along with a “paddle-driven, computer controlled shifting system.”

Now for the imperative part that the owner apparently forgot to : how to drive it. He must have been flying incredibly fast when a pelican got in the way so he decided to drive into a marsh instead of hitting the bird. It most likely would have been better to hit the bird than to drive your entire car into the water. The water will have ruined everything instead of just the windshield or part of the hood.

The Bugatti was in water up to the windows. That means the engine, part of the interior, the stereo system and everything would have been wet and messed up. Like I said taking out the bird would have been the better choice; specially since pelicans aren’t in short supply.

The Bugatti Veyron is an absolutely beautiful luxury car. The French are geniuses when it comes to the manufacturing, execution, and compactness of the car. No wonder it ranks No. 1 for the fastest and most expensive car. It is unparalleled when it comes to luxury cars.

Just a few days ago, Activision announced their financial earnings for the quarter just gone. They have announced that they made giant $200 million profit on a $1 billion earnings. However, the real piece of video game news behind this announcement is the hint at some new games that are currently in development.

Pretty deep within the report, behind all the technical talk, were some hints at new Spiderman, Tony Hawk, and James Bond games that could be on the horizon. Although the Spiderman and the Tony Hawk game is not confirmed, the president of Activision, Mike Griffith did confirm the Bond game. Unfortunately, no other information was given out, just that is was being produced at the moment.

The current Bond game, released earlier this year, was published by Activision and it has been one of the best Bond based games to date. The game followed the storyline of both films Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace and allowed the player to play as Bond through both stories. That game was built by Treyarch, the makers of Call of Duty: World At War, which might be why it picked up so many good video game ratings. However, Treyarch was not mentioned as the developers behind this new announcement.

Also, nothing was released about how the storyline of the game would go. So really the game could go in any direction, it could follow a new story, a previous film, or possibly be a prequel for another film.

As for the other games hinted at, there have been some rumours recently about a new Spiderman film, which would come with a game no doubt so that hint is looking promising. Finally, the last game hinted at, Tony Hawks, I don’t think this is going to happen because with Tony Hawk: Ride being released in November , I don’t think they would released another so quickly. However, you can never really tell, it’s just a waiting game now.
